Free Cookie in October at Great American Cookie

The Reading is SWEET: 2010 National Book Drive kicks off on October 1 with a FREE Original Chocolate Chip cookie giveaway from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at participating locations.
Throughout October, customers can receive a free cookie of their choice by donating a new or gently read book at their local Great American Cookies store*.  All books collected at each store will be offered as a donation to a local branch of the public library or a local charity.

In support of the program, Great American Cookies has created a special page at www.GreatAmericanCookies.com where customers can find a participating Great American Cookies location near them. The page also includes links to excellent resources on book donation and more from the American Library Association (ALA).
